Gift Wrap ???

Okay, this is what happens when you make a scrapbooker pay for a gift box .. I was shopping for a birthday present for a dear friend, J who celebrates her birthday next week. Got a some really yummy stuff from the Korean Brand, Skin Food, and I asked for a gift box to facilitate gift wrapping and the sales lady wanted to charge me $3.00 for a box ... :P so me being me .. I decided to alter a PC lunch box instead ...

New Layouts

Had a fun time doing up these layouts .. how can one not like the new heather bailey papers from Autumn leaves.. and all layouts about me.. and my cam whoring session the day i got my hair done ..Loved what they did to my hair and thus had to take peektures ..

A Simple Layout using a patchwork technique to create the background. There is actually a maya road butterfly sheer page that holds the title ...


This was the first layout that I did using the papers.. Used pinking shears to cut the edges to make the papers look like fabric swatches...

This one has layering and also cutting techniques and of course I had to use my stickles to "highlight" the flowers ..

it's finished .. sorta

Okay .. It is finally finished and I hope the gals at Shabby likes what I did with my kit :). Hint : they are smallish but full of techniques. Have some ideas left over and maybe I can add more to the collection ..hehehe ..

I was quite inspired with the papers .. heheh and did 2 layouts just now .. very simple ones with the left over papers and I am gonna pass them to Bev when she gets here and see if she wants to bring them back too .. kekkek .... me is soo shameless eh .. macam like I do they sure take like dat .. bwahahahahah .. but den again it was a re-found love affair with the brand I sorta "broke up" some time ago .. so I was super inspired.

It is already Tuesday and 3 more work days before the weekend begins and I can't wait.. not that I have anything planned but I have all these ideas for organizing my scrap area properly .. and I just need time ... TIME TIME TIME .. and also I need to find my MS office for Mac... which is lost or rather misplaced under all that junk I love ... need to find it cause I just finished writing the project product lists and it was no joke .. bwahahahahahh

How come I feel like a bus ran over me several times ... when I rested the whole weekend .. yeap .. basically moved from bed to sofa to bed to sofa to bed the whole weekend .. but how come i still feel like crap .. i think i shall go see the doctor again tmr ..

A Luxe Weekend

My Luxe weekend started on Thursday night, having a yummy seafood dinner with Jennifer Lynn Moody, owner of Luxe Designs who popped by Singapore to conduct classes at Made With Love, one of my favourite LSS in Singapore. Invited by Elvi, we joined Jennifer, Kristy, SC and Sandra for chilli crabs and other yummy seafood staples.

Saturday was a class which was really a test for scrappers, imagine 3.5 hours to finish 6 layouts and 10 cards.... and i am reeling with a huge sense of acomplishment in finishing them ... will post those layouts soon .

Sunday .. which is today .. I have another class .. a maya road mini album ... way cool.. and with kristy by my side .. it is sure gonna be a ball of laughs and heaps of fun ...

its gonna be a BUSY WEEKEND

Why are the nights so short

I am bursting to create something .. But it is now almost 11.30pm .. and almost time for bed .. Why are the evenings so short and why do I have to have at least some semblance of proper sleep for me to function properly .. argh..

Meeting the gals tmr .. for some SB shopping therapy .. kekeke .. and friday will be meeting up with Jennifer lynn Moody @ Made With Love .

I am sooo craving sashimi and sushi .. why I have no idea ..

The weekend passed ,, mackie is still at the doctor's and .. we have a new scrap idol .. yeap .. doesn't sound like much ?? well .. add in a pair of new camper slip ons and 6 new pots from WMF plus snuggly my new "bol bol" (as ting2 would call it) .. and I am one tired person.

Life without mackie was unimaginable and with mackie away at the doctor's for the weekend and not coming back till wed at least is quite the bummer, but I survived with 1 HKG Drama series and 2 books .. bwahhahah .. yeap .. how long ago was it that i actually read but I popped by borders last friday to check out books and ended up with 2 .. finished one on friday night and started on one last nite before bed .. trying to finish reading it before mackie comes back .. ... 3 more days to go .. :)
