Okay .. I have been scrapping bits all last week . but only 2 layouts to show for it .. and yes these are the getting mojo ready for churning layouts for CHA ... yes, I HAVE NOT STARTED ON MY PROJECTS YET AND NOPE .. SO NOT PANICKING LOR .. ask me again in JAN .. ahaahaha .. Kristy u panicking yet ??

So I have created a blog for readers who wanna read abt my adventures in the motherland. I will post up photos and travel tips for those who are interested to visit.... and also as a memory of a fantastic trip... and also for the group to pop on by to revive memories. .. so hop on by :)

Back from the Motherland

Yeap got back abt 8 hours ago .. and after a nap (yes I classify sleep under 6 hours a nap :P) I have downloaded all 1500 pictures into mac-kie. Amazing trip I had, travelling for 10 days in Yun-nan Province. It is such an amazing place, with picture perfect scenery and Fantastic travelling partners, A special shout out to Auntie Janet, Auntie Jasmine, Uncle Mike and Uncle HP who made the nightly "Party" session so fun. It was really great to have met u peeps there. Not forgetting the wonderful tour people, Iris, Lynn, Rachel , Tommy and his wife, auntie Red lip Gull and Friend and also the tour guides in Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-la that made the trip wonderful... Ok ok this is sounding like an academy awards thank you speech ...

I had fun the last 10 days .. the food was good, the accomodation was good, the company fantastic and the shopping, well nothing much but still managed to get some really nice stuff .. that may turn up in some of my creations.. yes 1500 photos .. WOOOHOOO ... I am pumped to create now .. but first , luggage to unpack, clothes to wash and LOTS OF STUFF to put away ... geesh .. I swear I left with a clean and neat room .. so why is there a mess now ????

blog ... I have neglected you with all that flying that I have been doing lately .... Got back from KL a couple of weeks ago and now am preparing to fly off to the motherland in about 1 weeks time ... please forgive me for the neglect .. I wish I had lots more time to spend updating you ...

well lets re-cap, the last post before KL .. so lets talk abt KL .. KL was absolutely "BOOMZ" .. hahah .. okay old joke.. but yes it was fabulous, Sharon Y was a fantastic host and I had the nicest ppl in my class... love love love ... Thank you all for taking time out for the class .. :)

Came back to Singapore and had plenty to do work wise .. and also had a few plans for classes confirmed so that was good ... I have a new class at MWL this month... I'll be doing Lumpy Bumpy this month and also the creative life class too so.. do go sign up for them if you have not yet done so ...

Next month I am hoping that I will be "grounded" but it may not look that way ... and I will have a couple of new classes at MWL too .. so look out for them ...

Time for me to go off ... Lumpy Bumpy at MWL later this afternoon ... :)

I am leaving for KL this wednesday for the lumpy bumpy class at Scrappingville at Bangsar Shopping Centre on Thursday ... and I cannot wait ... Have you signed up for it yet ??? I last heard that there was some spaces left so quick go sign up for mine and Kristy's classes .. it will be such a hoot ... Kristy is on her way to the airport as I write this ... and she has 2 luggages full of stuff .. kekeke .. and I wun be doing so badly myself with 2 also .. hahahah

I am leaving the house soon for another class at MWL later this afternoon .. I understand that it is a full class so I better leave the house soon .. travelling to PS and parking will be such a pain .. but it will be so worth it to share the class with them .. cannot wait ...

WHAT?? those papers are so hard to work with .. but I preservered and guess what . I really love the 2 layouts I did . Very vintagey and Shabby ... I am in love with the papers now ... So here's the 2 layouts ...

Mojo Mojo .. where are you ???

It's coming up to my birthday soon .. and I am chirpy as ever ... ain't birthdays just the best thing ever ???? and it is better when it is your own .. :)

My Canvas Mojo has decided to take a holiday and Mr Mojo only decided to tell me when I started on one last nite. You know how ideas have been swirling ard your mind and u go hmm yeah thats not too bad and u go ohhh if you add this and that .. yeap that happened to me the whole week and when I decided to start.. I got my whole color, inks, paints thingy wrong and the whole base looked .. JUST WRONG.. but the good thing about canvases is .. like soojen said ... dun like it .. RE-GESSO .. and that was what I did .. :) Blank new canvas to start with .. aint that the best now...

So in abt 5 days I celebrate my birthday .. and in about 6 days I leave on a jet plane again (yay to cheap fares ) to scrappingville for the Lumpy Bumpy Class . Kits are all packed, paints are all ready, I am soooooo ready ... are you ??? have you signed up yet ? Are there any more spaces left ?? is there a waiting list for the class ? do i need to prepare more kits ? .. ohhhhh ... sooo exciting ...

Be prepared to take a wild ride with me in this workshop as we explore a variety of fun techniques and discover cool textures. Get ready to get your hands dirty as we create 2 layouts on canvas and discover that layouts need not be flat as we go lumpy bumpy with tips that would make you go WOW !!!. You will leave the workshop with super cool projects and a spirit to experiment.
